Are you looking for self-employed cleaning jobs?
Here are a few Q & As about working with GCC as a sub-contractor
- Why can’t I just become a GCC employee?
You can – But as an employee you don’t have the flexibility to increase your portfolio of contracts and your monthly earnings.
- I’ve got no experience in cleaning. Do I get training?
Yes, you will be required to complete GCC’s in-house, British Institute Of Cleaning Science (BICSc) aligned training course before taking on your first contract. This includes modules covering Health & Safety, COSHH, correct use of RAMS, NHS colour coded cleaning techniques and environmental training.
- How many contracts can I take on?
GCC limits the value of work that new sub-contractors can take on in the first few months to ensure that all processes are being followed and the quality of work is excellent. Once you have proved yourself you can take on more contracts.
- How much can I earn?
GCC will charge you a small management fee for providing all the admin support. Other that the cost of cleaning chemicals and equipment the income from the contract is all yours.
- What happens if something goes wrong?
GCC provides Customer Service and Area Manager support to all its contracts so you will have as much back-up, help and support as you need. Don’t forget, it’s in both our interests to keep our customer happy!
